Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the Eagleby South State School website. This site is designed to provide general information about our school. Contact details are readily available and we invite inquiries.

Our school is based on the southern edges of Logan City, between the Twin Rivers, the Logan and the Albert. We are conveniently positioned halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast ensuring our local families are able to access a wealth of facilities.

"Aim Higher" is our school motto. We expect students to meet a high standard of personal accountability so that they own their decisions, and thus the successes they earn through endeavour and persistence. Our teaching staff is a professional team that is committed to working towards these ideals. Our students are supported by classroom teachers, Special Education Program teachers, teacher aides, administration staff, cleaners, a schools officer, and a number of visiting specialists. The school leadership team consists of myself, Mrs Griffiths - Head of Curriculum, as well as Ms Garbutt and Ms Scott who share the role of Head of Special Education Services.
